Action campaign against non-accredited insurance agents

The Insurance and Pensions Commission (IPEC) has launched an action campaign against unlicensed insurance agents.

Zimbabwean insurers will now be bound to cooperate only with licensed agents. Legal sanctions will be applied in case of default.

The purpose of this move is to clean up the intermediary sector of offenders who do not comply with insurance regulations.
