4% increase of the turnover in 2013

The insurance market has achieved a turnover, in 2013, of 96.067 billion FCFA (201.55 million USD), an increase of 3.85% compared to 2012.

The life insurance branch has represented 25.07% of this turnover, for a total of 24.080 billion FCFA (50.52 million USD), up by 12.9%. Non-life insurance has totalized, on its side, 71.987 billion FCFA (151.029 million USD), achieving a progression of 1.14% in one year.
